Who will treat me?
Your optician or GP will refer you for examination by an ophthalmologist, who usually works in the ophthalmology department of a hospital. The ophthalmologist will suggest which treatment best suits your needs.
If you are prescribed medicine you should use it as instructed and keep your appointments for check ups.
